Dr. EDWARD Y. MARGINES
Whether an issue is big or small, my belief is that a person is the best judge about when it is time to come for therapy. Along with this decision is the fact that finding a therapist who represents a good fit it its own challenge. I like to have a brief (10-15 minute) phone conversation with a prospective client so that we can both decide if and how we can best collaborate in therapy. Figuring out what is in the way to achieving the goals you have and results you want is a key component in the beginning of treatment.
Taking from both Cognitive and Psychodynamic disciplines, I employ what is necessary to collaborate with each individual client. The first session is an intake where I get a history of you and the issues you are facing. For busy individuals I do have evening appointments available. My office is located on the first floor and is handicapped accessible.
