Welcome, I’m Dr. Margines. Whether an issue is big or small, my belief is that a person is the best judge about when it is time to come to therapy. Perhaps you have tried things your way, or gotten the advice of others, but you are still not as happy, calm, or productive as you wish to be.
Therapy is the space where we can find what is getting in the way of you doing or feeling the way you want. Unlike general advice, which often uses a “one size fits all” model, therapy takes a more personalized approach. It prioritizes the person first and accommodates them throughout their personal journey. Taking from both Cognitive and Psychodynamic disciplines, I employ what is necessary to collaborate with each individual client.
